October 2013 Resolution Regarding Proxy Voting
Here is the Board of Stewards' Resolution regarding proxy voting passed October 20, 2013:
Introduction to the Stewards' 2013 Bylaws Revision Amendments
The Board of Stewards adopted Bylaws Revision Amendments for consideration of the Membership at the November 9, 2013 General Membership Meeting (GMM).
The Bylaws Revision amendment documents will be posted on this blog in whole and in sections to include the source of changes and any appropriate discussion.
The Board will answer comments from members' questions and these amendments may be further amended at the GMM from the floor.
The Bylaws Committee felt that the Bylaw changes would be best exhibited through a track-change document. PDFs of the Bylaws Revision copy and the track-change copy will be posted so that each and every alteration will show in either Red or Green. (Red for any new change and Green for moving an existing Bylaw to a new location)
The Bylaws Committee made its revision recommendation to the Board of Stewards at the Store Meeting on October 17th. The Board's subsequent motions to adopt the 2013 Revision documents as amendments for the GMM were submitted electronically and were carried with Amanda Hughey's abstaining and Don DelCollo abstention on the question of Proxy Voting only.
These votes will be entered into the minutes of the October 2013 Store Meeting.
